Out of over 200 marijuana stocks, there's 3 that we're going to be watching as the markets open due to breaking news out this morning. Here's 3 cannabis companies to watch today:

GW Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:GWPH)

This morning, Zogenix, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZGNX), a pharmaceutical company developing therapies for the treatment of rare central nervous system disorders, reported positive top-line results from its first Phase 3 trial for its investigational drug, ZX008 (low-dose fenfluramine hydrochloride), for the treatment of Dravet syndrome. This directly competes with one of GW Pharma's drugs, sending shares of GWPHdown over 12% in pre-market trading.
